We have been invited to play in a tournament dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Normandy in Caen, France from 2-4 May.
Due to the special reason behind this tournament, we will be splitting into two teams:
- Team Omaha (E-1) - US and other natives
- Team Juno (E-2) - Canadians and some northern US natives
Once we determine how the teams are getting split up, your team number next to your name will reflect which team you are on.
Each team will play a minimum of 9 matches 1x20 minute non-stop. The matches are short periods. Penalties will be replaced by a penalty shot.
This is a friendly tournament where you must demonstrate fair play. Any unsportsmanlike behavior will NOT be tolerated.
A classification by points will be established (2 points for a win , 1 point for a draw , 0 points for a loss) In case of a tie, the final ranking will be calculated as the difference of goals scored and goals conceded. To conclude the event, there will be awards for all teams.
Still pending at this time.
