All three Eagles teams had short benches. But this year, Eagles 1 pulled off an undefeated run with only two lines and brought the Championship Trophy home during the 23rd Annual Armed Forces Alpine Classic!
The Eagles have been the top of the European military tournament six out of the last seven years, and after losing to the Wiesbaden Vikings in the semi-finals last year...this one felt great!
Tournament MVP
Brock Gowie was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, being critical to the team's success and also having the most points over anyone.
E-2 Rundown
Eagles 2 had a great time in the tournament, but found themselves out-muscled during all three of their games in the toughest group of the bracket. The heavy competition primed them for the playoffs though, and they are ready to go full throttle next Sunday for their first playoff game.
E-3 Rundown
Eagles 3 played in some of the most exciting games we've seen. After a rough game against the UK, they lost their second to Wiesbaden Vikings 3, but it wasn't over for them.
They got a rematch against the Vikings and pulled off a 2-1 victory! They nearly came from behind to beat the Stuttgart Mustangs during their elimination game, but couldn't bang one home with their goalie pulled.
