In a combined effort with Boeing, we presented the USO with $1700! The Eagles family raised $345 and 215 euros of that $1700, with donations coming from Bob O'Donnell's two 60 kilometer bike challenges and with the Chuck-a-Puck competition during our Inaugural Cuddeback Cup. Check out his bike!

E-3 starting off with a beautiful goal to take the lead. Ludwig Schweinfurth gave Todd Lutz a beautiful pass, which Todd launched in the top right shelf. This ended the 1st period 2-0 Eagles!
Teamwork was the theme of this game! They had amazing passes and their defensive was strong! Goalie Martin Spengler actually told us after the game he was about to ask for an iPad or something since the Eagles were not allowing anyone to get close to Martin with a puck! With their amazing teamwork the ...Read More

Another miracle on ice for the Eagles in the Netherlands, as they came from behind to win the 2013 Island Cup Games tournament!
This year's International Island Cup marks the 3rd year for this organization ran by the Ice Hockey Club Black Sheep, based in Dordrecht, Netherlands. The tournament featured teams from around The Netherlands, Norway, France, and of course us, Eagles! This is the second year we have sent a team to the Island Cup. The team consisted of a mixture of E1, E2, and a couple E3 players. The tournament games were 2 periods of 20 minute run-time.
The first game for the Eagles was on Friday, September 6th against the reigning champs and a team we met in their tournament last March, the Zoetemeer Outlaws. The Eagles started off the game by Jean-Pierre Spadaffor passing to Br ...Read More
Eagles pose after a big win to lock up 3rd place.
Saturday's game was a BIG game for the Eagle's Inline team because, it determined if the boys would be going into the playoffs in 3rd or 4th place. The boys also welcomed back goalie Nick Mclean from his month long vacation in Canada.
Tom Holmen started the game off right by scoring in the first 16 seconds of the game! Adam Sacchetti came up from defensive to score again for the Eagles. The Vikings managed to slip one in. This ended the first period with the Eagles up, 2-1.
The 2nd period was an edge-of-the-seat kind of period. The Vikings keep shooting at goalie Nick McClean and he only allowed them to get 3 in, which is awesome if you saw how many shots he b ...Read More
Long time Eagle Bob "O" stepped up to raise money for the Wounded Warriors.
I am sure we all know about all the good things that the Wounded Warrior project does here in Germany, but also all around the world. However, did you know that for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, for every US soldier that was killed, that there were 7 wounded? A little math for you, as of June 1, 2013, there have been 6,717 who gave the ultimate sacrifice and 50,897 wounded.
Some of those wounded will come here to the Kaiserslautern area for days, weeks, or even months. These soldiers need everything from clothes, to toothbrushes, backpacks, and even equipment that food can be cooked on. A lot of the materials these soldiers are u ...Read More
