Eagles Flock for 2nd Annual Cuddeback Memorial 5K

Over 40 Eagles and their families out there to honor their fellow fallen Eagle, Zac.

This year marks the two year anniversary of our fallen Eagle, A1C Zachary "Cudde" Cuddeback. He was killed serving his country the morning after one of our Eagle's practices during the shooting in Frankfurt.

We came out in full force today, with over 40 Eagles and their families out there to honor Zac during the 2nd Annual Cuddeback 5K.

Everyone was looking great in their jerseys and some of us even sporting our gear. Rich Ramos was in nearly all of his gear but skates; however, his son was completely "geared" up.

The Cuddeback banner was raised high and proudly carried by Collin Keller and Brian Leo. A personal friend of the Eagles, Luis Vasquez, proudly ran in our Cuddeback jersey that will eventually be permanently displayed in a memorial in the Zweibrucken Ice Rink.

The Eagles new cripple, Steve Cotta, crutched the entire 5K...yes, crutched! Now that's some inspiration!

Our very own, Robert "Doc" Moore finished 1st in the 60+ age group!

Overall, it was an enormous success that was a GREAT time for a GREATER cause!

We would like to thank Nick and Monica Lombardi for running the event for us. You are AWESOME!

Around $10,000 was raised for the Landstuhl Fisher House and the USO!

Thank you all for your support and you all are what makes this hockey organization the GREATEST!

RIP Zac. You will not be forgotten!

GO EAGLES!
