Island Cup Games is a name with a background. Dordrecht, the city where the tournament is held is called the island of Dordt. The Cup refers to the element of competition, when you win the trophy you may connect your name to it. It will therefore have an obligation to the next year to come and defend the title again.
The Island Cup games are being played at the Sportboulevard in Dordrecht. A completely new sports facility. A real arena to organize a tournament that suits the accommodation.
This is a private organization. It is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status.
